MP3 Gain...
This is a volume adjuster for Mp3 files.
Are you fed up with altering the volumes on mp3 files. Nothing can be more irritating than turning around and adjusting the volumes when gigging live.You start with the volume just right, then you play a track that it is so low in volume that you have to adjust the main slider. Then your next track booooooms out because you forgot to turn it down again. Well, help is here! It's called MP3 Gain. Click the link below to download the MP3 Gain program and set all the volumes to just one level. Start the program and click the Add Folder button. Select the folder (on your HD) that contains your mp3 files. Click on the Album Analysis button and all of the music (files) will be checked for volume. Depending on the size of your collection and the speed of your computer, this may take some time. When this has finished, click on the Modify Gain menu and select Apply Track Gain. All of your mp3's now play at the same volume. Need more Help! This program has a very comprehensive Help file attached.

Jazz (MIDI) Sequencer...
This is a (FREE) full blown Midi Sequencer.
If you want to sequence your own midi files or just alter the ones you may come across on the web, this is for you. Jazz is a full blown midi sequencer with all the facilities of the professional sequencers, such as Cubase or Cakewalk. There is far too much in the program to mention here, you can alter everything to your own liking. Set it up for your system, save the settings and away you go. The only restriction is the printing of notation or tab (for guitars). This is the sequencer that I recommend and all our files are tested with Jazz before publishing to our site. Media players are ok for what they are, but if it's a sequencer that you want then you need this.

This SysEx Editor will print out to your clip board and then just paste the data into your midi file using a sequencer, be sure to paste it at the point you require it to be displayed on your graphic. Audacity 1.20 A FREE, powerful Audio editor. Platform Mac OS, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows XP As the first version of a new freeware audio editor, Audacity is impressive, having both an intuitive interface and a host of features. Audio can be imported in any of the following formats: WAV, AIFF, AU, IRCAM, MP3, OGG and MIDI. Once imported the audio can be manipulated in all the ways you would expect, including cutting, copying, adding or removing silence, and mixing tracks. Various effects are available to spice up your recordings, ranging from simple amplification to wah-wah effects. Multiple undo levels make a good base for experimentation, and the built-in amplitude envelope editor and spectrogram mode may prove useful. Works only with Win 95/98/2000/XP. ----------------------------------------------------------- ScoreExtractor 1.1 ScoreExtractor is a program that can help you manually convert your wav file to midi. The idea is to draw notes on a time-frequency picture, then you can test yourself, and save the results. This process can takes several hours, but the results will be better, than after any automatic conversion. Program can only work with PCM 44kHz mono wav files. ------------------------------------------------------------ Midget 3.5 Midget 3.5 is a MIDI music program for Windows 9x/2000/XP. The interface of Midget is based on the kind found in "trackers" (e.g.: Impulse Tracker / ScreamTracker), where notes are represented on-screen by their name, octave and velocity (e.g.: C#4 99 specifies a C sharp note in the 4th octave, at velocity 99.) It is very different from most "common" music programs, in that music isn't edited using a score-based interface or a piano roll. Some new users may find the interface quite daunting, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to work quickly. I chose to use the tracker-style interface because it allows users to enter notes, and then instantly change them using the computer keyboard. If you have an external MIDI device, you can use that for recording or playback too. Certain MIDI input events can be filtered out, and you can select instruments by sending the appropriate bank and patch changes from the external device. The most common MIDI controls are supported, and you have full control over them. You can also load, save and edit instrument lists (MIDI patch mappings) and auto-detect SoundFonts on Sound Blaster AWE/Live/Audigy cards (although the support for this is somewhat buggy.) Clipboard functions are included, along with transpose and fade out functions. There is no undo function. The free version has no MIDI load/save and is limited to 50 song bars (approx. 2 minutes-worth), and there are NO "nag screens" or adverts. A version with MIDI file support and 250 bars of song is available for a very small fee. But the free version will be sufficient for newcomers and supports loading/saving of Midget 3.5 files. ------------------------------------------------------------ MIDInight Express 2.7 The MIDInight Express II is a real time, emulated Wavetable MIDI jukebox and renderer. It runs with any Windows-compatible 16 bit sound card supporting a playback rate of 22050 Hz. No hardware Wavetable support is required - even the simple sound circuits found on most laptops will do.
